Pulwama, Dec 28: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, Mohd Yousuf Choudhary along with SHO Police Station Pulwama chaired a grievance redressal camp at Kanigam, a remote village in this south Kashmir district, to strengthen the bond between the police and the public. He listened to the grievances raised by the public.
SSP Pulwama assured the public that the police are committed to providing a secure environment for the people of the district. He emphasized the importance of community policing and urged the participants to lend their support and cooperation to the police in achieving this goal.
Choudhary expressed the commitment of the police to wipe out terrorism and drugs from the society. This can only be achieved with the cooperation and help of the general public, he said.
The public outreach programme and grievance redressal camp aimed to strengthen the bond between the police and the public and to promote a sense of security and trust in the community.
