Srinagar, May 06: A public delegation, comprising the residents of Drabgam, Pinglena, Washbug, and Chakora areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, met with Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari to brief him about the public issues and grievances, primarily related to infrastructure deficiencies and official inefficiencies, the party said on Saturday.
The delegation members apprised Bukhari about the lack of proper electricity and water supply, poor road conditions, and other pressing issues that the residents of the concerned villages are facing, the party said in a statement issued here.
On the occasion, Altaf Bukhari gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by the delegation members and assured them that he would take up their issues with the relevant officials. He promised to ensure that the problems faced by the public are swiftly addressed and resolved.
He said, “I will surely pick up these matters with the concerned officials and make sure that they ensure the swift redressal of these issues. Identifying public issues and ensuring their redressal is one of the key agendas of our party, and we will always strive to ensure an equivalent and fast-paced development in all the areas across Jammu and Kashmir.”
“I assure you that I will take up these matters with the concerned officials and ensure the swift resolution of these issues. Our party’s key agenda is to identify public issues and ensure their redressal promptly. We remain committed to promoting equal and fast-paced development across all areas in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
The delegation, according to the statement, was led by party leader Umar Jan. The party’s senior leaders, including its parliamentary affairs committee chairman Mohammad Dilawar Mir, general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, state convenor Haji Parvez, district president Noor Mohammad Sheikh, and others, were also present on the occasion.
