Srinagar, Oct 20: In a significant move aimed at dismantling the terror ecosystem from J&K, The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday attached immovable property of an absconding terrorist based in Pakistan. The attached property comprises one Kanal and 15 Marlas of orchard land is situated at Noorpora Tral Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said that immovable property of terror handler Feroz Ganie son of Naber Ganie has been attached U/S 83 CrPC from court of Addl. Sessions Pulwama (NIA Court) by Police Awantipora. The order was executed on Friday by Revenue authorities along with police and village representatives, he said.
As per Police, the said terrorist involved in case FIR No. 36/2023 U/S 18,20,23,25,38 and 39 UA(P) act and 7/25 Indian Arms Act of Police Station Tral was declared as proclaimed offender by special NIA Court Pulwama U/S 82 CrPC earlier after absconding terrorist failed to appear before investigating agency.
“Pertinently the Pak based terrorist Feroz Ganie is involved in promoting and reviving terrorist activities by pushing in Arms and Ammunition and activating local terror networks,” the spokesman said.
