Srinagar, May 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday attached properties of two terror handlers based in Pakistan in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla after obtaining attachment order passed by Sub Judge Uri attached properties (3 Kanals& 19 Marlas) land worth lacs belonging to 2 terror handlers based in Pakistan namely Jalal Din son of Raj Mohd resident of ZamboorPattan&Mohd Saki son of MastanaBhatti resident of Kamalkote Uri.
“The action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC & are linked with case FIR No.34/1995 u/s 7/25 Indian Arms Act, 4(III) TADA Act & 105/1996 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act of PS Uri,” he said.
The spokesman said that the property was identified belonging to terror handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police. The operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat the terror activities.
Few days before Police attached property of self-styled terrorist commander AbidRamzan Sheikh @Saifullah@Khalid who is involved in various terror related cases in Shopian& adjoining districts.
Earlier this month, Police attached property worth lacs belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan. It included 6 Kanals& 10 Marlas land worth lacs belonging to terror handlers based in Pakistan namely Adrees Ahmad Mir son of Shakar Din Mir son of resident of SingtungGowhallan Uri, District Baramulla has been attached.
