Srinagar, Apr 20: A group of advocates from the J&K and Ladakh High Court in Srinagar, known for their activism in social and political spheres, officially joined the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) under the guidance of Advocate Azhar Lodhi, the party said on Saturday.
According to a party statement issued here, the event took place at the Party Headquarters in Srinagar, in the presence of DPAP chief Ghulam Nabi Azad, Taj Mohidin, Peer Bilal, Mushtaq Lodhi, Aamir Bhat, and other prominent members.
The new members include Advocate Asif Rashid from Central Sheltenj, Srinagar, Advocate Tawheed Ahmad from Tangmarg and Advocate Fayaz Ahmad Reshi from Khag Poshkar.
The party leadership warmly welcomed the new members, emphasizing the importance of young, educated, and enthusiastic participation in politics during these times, the statement said.
