Programme ‘Pholwen Toor’ held at SP College auditorium by Angel’s Cultural Academy

Srinagar, Dec 04: A one day programme namely “PHOLWEN TOOR” was held at SP College auditorium by Angel’s Cultural Academy in Collaboration with JK Ansar ul Masakeen Trust (NGO) and SP College Srinagar.The purpose of this programme was to facilitate and encourage young and budding artists, students etc.
This programme was actually scheduled on 14 November 2022 on children’s day but due to some reasons it was postponed and finally held today. It was presented in different segments which included rouf, Ladishah, Rap Singing, Sufiyana music etc.
DrSyed Haneef Balkhi (KAS) the Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar was the Chief Guest of programme, he was followed by Nitish Rajora (IAS), who was sophisticated to see rouff, ladishah and other belongings to our culture and was watching the performances joyfully.
The anchor of programme was Akhter Hussaini who along with calling the names of participants and dignitaries to the podium was singing poetic couplets beautifully.
The programme’s title was “Pholwen Toor” which was actually dedicated to youth, in which not only students, budding artists were felicitated but the important issues were also highlighted which includes substantial abuse etc. The students of new Career Convent School presented the stunning performance on podium which depicted to what extent drug addiction is ruining the life of youth who are fallen prey to this menace.
A book release programme was also held during mid of the program in which book of Sabzar Sultan Shah showcased his book which was also showcased by the dignitaries on podium which included Syed Haneef Balkhi (KAS), Tariq Ahmad Shera President ACA,Afiqa Ali Chairperson JK Ansar ul Masakeen Trust (NGO),Nitish Rajora (IAS),G.R Akhoon(PEX AIR Srinagar),Suhail Ahmad Mir(Chairman Komal Defence Force),Sheikh Anwar ul Hak (Chief Spokesperson of Angel’s Cultural Academy)etc.
At the concSSlusion of programme, the award ceremony was held in which the participants, guests, media persons were felicitated by the hands of dignitaries.Tariq Ahmad Shera & Afiqa Ali was also felicitated and appreciated for organising such fruitful programmes.
