Prof. Mobin listed in world’s top 2% scientists for 5th time

Srinagar, Sept 19: Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Srinagar, Professor Mohammad Mobin has been listed in the top 2% of the most cited scientists across the world for the fifth consecutive time in the prestigious database released by Stanford University and Elsevier. He has also been listed in the top 0.05% of the scholars worldwide by California-based ‘ScholarGPS’ in its inaugural list of highly ranked scholars.
The Stanford/Elsevier’s top 2% Scientist Rankings, now in its sixth iteration, lists the world’s leading researchers. It recognizes top scientists for both their recent-year and career-long contributions. He has been ranked 4th globally in the specialty of Carbon Steel and 25th in the field of Corrosion by ScholarGPS over the past five years. Highly Ranked Scholars are the most productive (number of publications) authors whose works are of profound impact (citations) and of utmost quality (h-index).
Prof. Mobin is an internationally recognized researcher in the field of Materials and Corrosion. His mention in the Stanford/Elsevier’s and ScholarGPS databases is a testament to his exceptional contributions to the fields of Corrosion and Materials Science. Prof. Mobin’s prolific publication record and the high impact of his research and scholarly work have earned him this rare recognition.
Bestowed with the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, Prof. Mobin has over 40 years of research experience in the field of Materials and Corrosion. He has authored 184 research papers, completed 40 research projects, and contributed 05 books and 38 Book chapters.
His research projects, both academic and industrial, have international collaboration with AB AlveniusIndustrier, Sweden, EBARA Research, Japan, and RezayatKemica, KSA. He has also been awarded with the important national awards bestowed by National Association of Corrosion Engineers, USA(India Chapter),Association of Material Protection and Performance, USA(India Chapter) and National Corrosion Council of India for his meritorious contribution in the field of Corrosion Science and Technology.
