Jammu, Apr 07: Priya Sethi, National Executive Member of Bharatiya Janata Party and former Minister, on Sunday exhorted upon party cadre to campaign with conviction to forfeit security deposits of Congress candidates in ensuing political battles in Jammu and Kashmir.
With the Lok Sabha elections fast approaching, the senior BJP leader emphasized the importance of robust campaigning aimed at showcasing the BJP’s vision, accomplishments, and commitment to the welfare of the nation. She stressed that the BJP cadre must fervently engage with voters across constituencies, effectively communicating the party’s agenda and development initiatives.
While addressing the Shakti Kender in Ward No 14 here, Priya said, “This election holds immense importance for the future trajectory of our nation. It is imperative that we, as members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, demonstrate our unwavering dedication to our cause and work tirelessly to secure a resounding victory.”
The BJP leader urged party workers to mobilize grassroots support, engage in door-to-door campaigns, and utilize digital platforms effectively to reach a wider audience. She emphasized the need for unity and solidarity within the party ranks to effectively counter opposition challenges.
Sethi asked the party cadre to take the ongoing Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyan at ground level and make it a grand success. She asked them to strengthen the organization from the booth level and reach out to prospective voters from all segments and age groups. She laid stress on strengthening organizational setup to the hilt so that the party’s triumph in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The senior BJP leader also asked the booth-level workers to disseminate information about the Modi government’s flagship schemes among the common masses so that doubts if any can be warded off timely leaving no scope for the opposition parties to take undue benefits by swaying people by misleading them.
“It is important to bring the voter to the polling booth and efforts should be made by the party workers to meet this challenge with utmost ease through strong resolve and conviction,” she said. She asked party workers to ensure at least a 10 to 20 per cent rise in voter participation.
There is a need to strengthen the support base and take it to another level in the ensuing poll season, she added.
