Principal HSS Pakherpora accorded warm farewell on his superannuation

Budgam, May 02: A grand farewell ceremony was organized at the Higher Secondary School Pakherpora to honor the retirement of Principal Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi after his illustrious 37-year career in government service.
The event was attended by dignitaries from the Chief Education Officer’s office Budgam, Zonal Education Office Charar-i-Sharief, Resource Guild Centre Budgam, as well as members of the Teachers’ Forum and ReT Forum, who gathered to pay tribute to Andrabi’s exceptional contributions to the educational sector of the area.
During the ceremony, speakers hailed Andrabi’s able administration, outstanding leadership, and dedicated teaching career as the Principal of HSS Pakherpora and his tenure as the Incharge Zonal Education Officer Charar-i-Sharief. His commitment to developing an environment conducive to learning and his efforts in shaping the lives of countless students were lauded by various speakers. Furthermore, Andrabi’s passion for poetry and literature was celebrated, with attendees acknowledging his significant contributions to the literary world through his published works.
Addressing the gathering, former Chief Education Officer Budgam, Syed Mohammed Amin Bukhari, praised Andrabi’s principled leadership, uncompromising integrity, and visionary approach, which have left an indelible mark on the education sector. In his farewell address, Andrabi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his colleagues, friends, and well-wishers for the immense respect and honor accorded to him throughout his career.
He reminisced about the challenges and success he faced, highlighting the importance of dedication and perseverance in achieving one’s goals. The ceremony also witnessed the unveiling of a documentary based on the life of Andrabi, showing his remarkable journey and achievements. Born in 1965, Andrabi joined the State Cultural Academy in 1988.
Andrabi later transitioned to the educational department as a lecturer in Kashmiri in 2001. He has also made significant contributions to television and print media in various capacities. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos and gifts to Andrabi.
