Budgam, Sept 06: To provide proper facilities for tourists and visitors at the renowned tourist destination Doodhpathri in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, The Doodhpathri Development Authority (DDA) has started a prepaid Pony booking counter.
This counter enables tourists and visitors to book tickets for Pony rides at government-approved rates.
Nargis Suraya, the Chief Executive Officer of the Doodhpathri Development Authority told Rising Kashmir that the prepaid Pony booking counter has been established at the Doodhpathri tourist destination. Tourists and visitors can book tickets for Pony rides at government-approved rates.
“At present, the Doodhpathri Development Authority has registered 180 Pony wallas, and 50 registrations are currently under process. All registered Pony wallas will be available at the counter. Once tourists and visitors book their tickets at the counter, the Pony wallas will provide them with proper Pony rides at government-approved rates,” She stated.
Suraya said that tourists will be charged Rs. 500 for a one-hour ride, Rs. 250 for a 30-minute ride, Rs 850 for a two-hour ride and For a three-hour ride, tourists will be charged Rs 1200.
