Jammu, Nov 22: A two-day Prajna Yoga programme for hearing and speech-impaired students of Higher Secondary School for Hearing and Handicapped, Shahidi Chowk, Jammu concluded on Tuesday. The programme was organised by The Art of Living in collaboration with the J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra Jammu.
About 70 specially-abled students participated in two groups – from Class 1st to 6th in the Junior Group and Class 7th to 12th in the Senior Group. A special faculty of The Art of Living comprising Shreya Chugh and Rukmani Devi flew from Bangalore Art Of Living International Centre for this first-ever Art of Living specially designed programme for kids and teenagers for deaf and mute students in Jammu which was assisted by Art of living J&K Chapter faculty Ritvik, Akshita, Kanika, Sidhant and a dedicated team of volunteers. Abhishek, Kashish, and Bhawna along with SSK staff helped execute the programme perfectly.
During the two-day programme, the participants learned simple and powerful techniques which enable them to access, cultivate, utilise and maintain their inherent intuitive abilities. This ability is demonstrated through various blindfold activities, such as reading, colouring, walking, playing games, etc.
The participants learned brain activation exercises, designed specifically for their particular age. They are guided through meditation and relaxation techniques designed by the Art of Living, which is the key tool for accessing their intuition.
