Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have solved theft case by arresting accused and recovered stolen cash in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A Police spokesperson said, “PP Soibugh recieved a Complaint from one lady who is a resident of Soibugh stating that some unknown persons have barged into her house and stole cash and golden ornaments”
“Upon this information a Case *FIR NO 103 /2024* under relevant section of Law was registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation was set into motion”, he said.
“During the course of investigation, several suspects were brought for questioning. During the questioning, one Suspect namely Furqan Ahmad Malik S/O Manzoor Ahmed Malik R/O Soibugh admitted his involvement in the theft case and accordingly the total stolen cash of *Rs 6500 were recovered based on their disclosure.”, he said.
The said accused has been arrested in the instant case, and further investigation is going on.
