Budgam, Jan 11: Police in Budgam returned gold valued at 3 lakh rupees to tourists from Hyderabad who had lost their jewellery at the renowned tourist site Doodhpathri in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Zahoor Ahmad Khan, the Station House Officer of Khansahib Police Station, informed Rising Kashmir that the tourists lost their bag in Doodhpathri during the late evening hours. The bag contained gold worth Rs 3 lakh along with a sum of cash.
“The bag was returned to the tourists, who confirmed that all the gold and cash were intact upon its return,” he said
