Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday rescued three Uttar Pradesh tourists stuck at Natha Top area of Patnitop in Ramban district after snowfall, officials said.
A Police Spokesperson said that today on 30/01/2022, a telephonic distress call was received in Police Post Patnitop that some tourists form Uttar Pradesh are stuck in the snow near Nathatop on the Nathatop-Sanasar road.
“Acting swiftly, a special police team was constituted by I/C PP Patnitop PSI Sushil Kumar and the rescue team immediately rushed to the spot. The police party after doing strenuous and hectic efforts finally reached the spot amid intensive snowfall and all the three tourists were safely rescued”, he said.
The spokesperson said that the rescue operation was conducted by the Police party of PP Patnitop under the close supervision of SHO P/S Batote Sh Sam Paul Gill and DySP Hqrs Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and under the overall supervision to of SP Ramban Mohita Sharma IPS.
