Ganderbal, Dec 28: Police in Ganderbal organised a cycle race under the Civic Action Program on J&K Police. The race was organised from Benhama to Wayil Bridge in which youth of the district participated with huge fervour, enthusiasm and zest.
During the flag off ceremony DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Gh Hassan expressed that the event organised by Ganderbal Police is aimed to provide the sports platform for the youth to boost their sports activities and to keep them away from drug abuse. He also thanked the participants for joining the event and making it successful.
At the conclusion of the event, DySP Hqrs Ganderbal distributed cash prizes & mementos among the top three Position holders viz. Bazil Ahmad son of Mohd Shafi resident of Kangan, Aijaz Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Wakura & Inayatullah Rather son of Bashir Ahmad Rather resident of Kangan respectively.
On the occasion officers of Police & Civil administration were also present.
