Police organise awareness programme on New Criminal Laws

  Srinagar, Sep 23: J&K Police Tuesday organised an Awareness Programme cum Quiz Competition on the New Criminal Laws at Government Higher Secondary School, Bijhama.  As per a statement issued here, the event aimed to familiarize students and staff with the recently enacted laws highlighting their key provisions and significance in ensuring justice. Students also actively participated in the quiz competition, showcasing keen interest and enthusiasm. The programme not only enhanced their knowledge but also encouraged them to become responsible citizens aware of the legal framework of the country. They were later on awarded with certificates. Moreover, Traffic Awareness Programme was also conducted for the students, highlighting the importance of road safety and discipline. Students actively participated in the activities with great enthusiasm. Refreshments were served at the end, making the programme both informative and engaging.
