Budgam, May 27: Police organised a five-day workshop on ‘New Criminal Laws’ here for officers and officials of District Police Budgam. Around 50 Investigation Officers (IOs) from the district attended the programme.
The workshop aimed to equip officers and officials with a comprehensive understanding of the new criminal laws introduced by the Central Government. Structured to provide practical insights, the workshop focused on the application of these laws in real-world scenarios, a police spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
DySP Hqrs Saquib Gani and Ab Rashid Dar, Senior PO, Incharge PP Soibugh delivered lectures during the workshop. The highlight of the event was the interactive discussions that allowed participants to enhance their practical knowledge of the new laws.
“This initiative reflects the commitment of the police to provide thorough and relevant training to its personnel, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest laws and excel in their enforcement duties,” the spokesperson said.
