A Police head Constable was killed in an road accident in Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday late evening.
An official said that an Alto car met with an accident, resulting in the death of Police Head Constable identified as Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Rajwar Handwara.
The deceased Ghulam Rasool, stationed at the Tad Police Post in Karnah, was traveling towards Kupwara in his Alto car, registration number JK09B 2325, when he met with an accident near Sadhna Top in Karnah and fell into a deep gorge.
According to officials, legal formalities are being completed.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.(KNS)
