Srinagar, Feb 07: A flag-off ceremony for a group of 50 Kashmir valley children and three carers for their participation in the 23rd Rashtra Katha Shivir-2023 in Rajkot, Gujarat, was held on the orders of ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar-IPS.
It was organised in the Police Control Room Kashmir by Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir. Shri Vedic Mission Trust is organising the “23rd Rashtra Katha Shivir-2023” programme.
This curriculum aims to instill life skills through orations by renowned orators. The flag-off event was attended by the SSP PCR Kashmir, as well as other officers from PCR Kashmir and ZPHQ.
It is worthwhile to mention here that all the boarding and lodging facilities are being provided by Zonal Police Headquarters, Kashmir. Besides, a customized kit containing clothes etc has also been provided to all the participating students.
While interacting with students from various sections of the Kashmir valley, SSP PCR Kashmir stated that the visit intends to create a forum for youth orientation and nurturing in several disciplines such as National Integration, Social & Religious Harmony, and Martial Arts, among others.
This tour will provide an opportunity to the participating students to understand the togetherness of India and its immense diversity.
He also advised the students to imbibe nationalism and the greatness of the country and to take full advantage of the opportunity and collect memories for life during the camp, besides wished them a fun-filled, safe journey.
Parents and touring students applauded the efforts made by J&K Police for such a mesmerising initiative and thanked the Police for providing them an opportunity to participate in 23rd Rashtra Katha Shivir-2023 in Gujarat.
