Police evacuate patient to hospital amid snowfall in Ganderbal

Amid heavy snowfall, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday saved a patient’s life who suffering from dreadful Pneumonia disease by shifting him nearby hospital in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

 

A Police Spokesperson said, “Today at about 1700 hours, SHO Police Station Lar Gulzar Ahmad recieved a phone call from upper reaches of Chount Waliwar Lar in which the caller mentioned that an ailing person namely Showkat Ahmad Qurashi S/O Ab Rahman Qurashi R/O Chountwaliwar Lar, age about 30 years is suffering from dreadful Pneumonia disease, needs immediate help for treatment.”

 

“Acting Swiftly, the said patient was shifted to the nearby hospital by Police Party of PS Lar led by the concerned SHO. As no vehicle was able to ply on the road due to slippery condition, amid heavy snowfall in the said area”, he said.

 

However, SHO Police Station Lar alongwith Police Party reached on the spot and took the ailing person on their shoulders upto the Police vehicle and shifted him to PHC Lar for providing him with immediate treatment.

 

General Public of the area has applauded the efforts of District Police Ganderbal by timely helping the patient & admitting him at PHC Lar in time. This is consecutively second rescue operation by Ganderbal Police which saved the precious life.
