Police distributes blankets and uniform kits among needy families in Pulwama

Continuing its Public outreach Programme under the Civic Action Programme, Police in Pulwama distributed blankets & full uniform Kits among needy families and students of Govt. Primary School Gujarlab Draklaran (Sangerwani) of District Pulwama. 

 

The Distribution ceremony was attended by SSP Pulwama Mohd Yousif-JKPS, DySP DAR Pulwama, SHO PS Pulwama & some other officers of District Police Pulwama. 

 

The step being taken by District Police Pulwama have warmly welcomed by the general public of Sangerwani vicinity and other civil officers including ZEO Pulwama, Principal GPS Gujjarlab Draklaran and other senior citizens of the vicinity. Soon after conclusion of the Distribution ceremony, SSP Pulwama interacts with all the beneficiaries including children and other personalities of the area. During interaction he advised the general public to maintain peace and tranquillity in their vicinity and to cooperate with police in time. Besides SSP Pulwama also advised the students to whom full uniform kits have been provided to have proper attention/focus on their studies and achieve their goals/dreams. 

 

In addition to the above, SSP Pulwama also advised the general public and students including the whole school staff not to indulge in criminal & other subversive activities. He also assured that every possible assistance will be provided to them as and when they feel its necessity from District Police Pulwama, however despite being made such type of distribution the general public have requested SSP Pulwama that such more events should be organized in the district especially in far-flung area to have good interaction and relationship with common masses and police as well.
