Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said that it has destroyed wild cannabis on 10 kanals of Govt Land at Goriwan & Gawas Sheeri areas of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A Spokesperson said, “Baramulla Police received information regarding presence of Wild Cannabis at Goriwan & Gawas Sheeri Baramulla.Accordingly a police party consisting of personnel from Police Station Sheeri led by Inspr Mudasir Nazar SHO PS Sheeri alongwith BDC Narwav Mir Iqbal, Sarpanch Heewan, Sarpanch Badmulla & respectables of Delina Baramulla under the overall supervision of Altaf Ahmad Khan-JKPS DySP Hqrs Baramulla reached the spot and destroyed the Wild Cannabis on fields measuring approx about 10 Kanals of land.”
General people of Narwav hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and has joined the destruction of Wild Cannabis at the locations.
