Srinagar, Dec 29: The Department of Police initiated a significant restructuring on Friday by announcing the immediate transfer and posting of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).
As per the order, Zaheer Abbas has been relocated from DySP SCRB to SDPO Nehru Park Srinagar. Mohd Irfan Khan, previously with DySP PCR Jammu, is now appointed as SDPO Arnas, while Owaise Rashid moves from DySP DAR Budgam to SDPO Bijbehara.
Other notable transfers include Owais Ahmad Wani from DysP CIO Kulgam to SDPO Chrar-e-Shareef and Ajaz Ahmad from DySP PC Kupwara to SDPO Kokernag.
Furthermore, Ashaq Hussain Dar has been moved from DySP Hqrs Anantnag to SDPO Zakura, Abdul Ghafoor from ZPHQ Kashmir to DySP DAR Awantipora, and Bhupinder Kumar from DySP CID CI Jammu/Samba to SDPO Mendhar.
Ajaz Ahmad, formerly with DySP DAR Reasi, is now SDPO Mahore, and Javaid Ahmad Lone moves from DySP IR-11th Bn to DySP DAR Shopian.
Ummer Rashied is transferred from DySP SSG (Under Transfer to Gurez) to DySP PC Handwara, Priyanka Kumari from DySP Ist Women Bn to DySP PC Jammu, and Arif Hussain Malik from DySP PC Hattipora to DySP Hqrs Kulgam. Additionally, Faizan Ali moves from DySP PC Dooru to SDPO Tangmarg, and Rukhsana Chaudhary shifts from DySP Crime Branch Jammu to DySP CID CIK Hqrs Srinagar.
As a result of the reshuffle, several officers, including Hilal Khaliq Bhat (SP), Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather (SP), Shah Umar (SP), Ghulam Mohd Bhat (SP), Salim Jahangir Lone (SP), Showkat Ahmad Dar (SP), Mansha Beg (DySP), and Ishfaq Alam (DySP), are directed to report to ZPHQ Kashmir until their formal adjustment/posting.
