Police arrests inter-state female narco smuggler in Samba

Jammu, Jan 25: Police on Wednesday arrested an inter-state woman narcotic smuggler Rajveer Kour from Samba and seized heroin worth approximately Rs 7.50 lakhs from her possession during checking at special nakas laid ahead of Republic Day, Police said.
SSP Samba, Benam Tosh said that the arrested female heroin smuggler Rajveer kour is the main inter-state smuggler involved in smuggling and supplying heroin (Chitta) from Punjab to Kathua, Samba and Jammu and its adjoining areas.
Police said Rajveer, a 28 year old married woman of Hoshiarpur, Punjab, used to smuggle heroin all alone in passenger vehicle for supplying in Jammu areas.
She was arrested with heroin in her possession from outside a kullah towards which she was seen moving suspiciously, the Police said.
SSP Samba said that 4 top inter-state narcotic smugglers and suppliers have been arrested by Samba Police.
