Srinagar, Oct 08: Political leaders across the political spectrum of Jammu and Kashmir Saturday felicitated people on the observance of Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
National Conference President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and NC Vice-President Omar Abdullah, in their separate messages, said said Eid-ul-Milad is an occasion to dedicate ourselves to the teachings of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) in letter and spirit and work tirelessly towards helping those in need. Both leaders prayed for peace and stability in Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr Farooq Abdullah said Islam is the religion of peace and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the epitome of all virtues and perfect embodiment of justice and benevolence.
Omar Abdullah in his message said Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) provides us an opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind.
Chairman Democratic Azad Party GhulamNabi Azad extended his heartiest greetings to the countrymen in common and the people J&K in particular.
“This day is the most auspicious as the mercy for mankind. The great Prophet was born. We are all blessed ones to celebrate this most auspicious day. Let us all pray for prosperity all,” said Azad.
Political leader Zaffer Mir (Lasjan) also greets people on the eve of Eid-e-Milad. He urges worshipers to pray for the peace and prosperity of J&K on this auspicious occasion.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari greeted people on the occasion and requested worshipers to pray for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
In his message, Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari said, “Muslims across the world observe the 12th of Rabi ul-Awwal as Eid Milad-un-Nabi. This is the day of blessing not only for the Muslims across the world but for all mankind as the Almighty Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a messenger of peace and harmony for everyone.”
The Apni Party President urged the administration to ensure adequate facilities for the devotees at all major places of worship in J&K.
Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr DarakhshanAndrabi greeted people on the occasion of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (saw) celebrations.
In her message Dr Andrabi said that the message of peace, harmony, righteousness and spirituality of the great prophet needs to be conveyed to the people around in the world so that the true face of the prophet’s faith is presented to whole humanity.
Peoples’ Conference (PC) President SajadGani Lone has felicitated people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-MiladNabi (saw), urging Muslims to pray for peace, prosperity and unity of humanity amid the prevalent trying situation.
The PC President has urged the administration to ensure smooth supply of essentials on the occasion and ensure transport, water and other vital supplies to the religious places wherein congregations are slated to take place in view of the sacred occasion.
Chairman JK Peoples Democratic Front ( JKPDF) and Former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen also felicitated people especially muslimUmah on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Milad- un- Nabi (PBUH).
JD (U) leader G M Shaheen extended heartfelt felicitations and warm wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion.
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader ArifLaigaroo greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
Apni Party (AP) vice-president and former minister, ChoudharyZulfkar Ali greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. He prayed for mutual respect and communal harmony in J&K.
Prophet of Islam inspires to live righteous life: Advisor Bhatnagar
Srinagar, Oct 08: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev RaiBhatnagar Saturday extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
