PM’s remarks on snow cricket, winter sports will boost tourism in JK: Ashok Koul

Srinagar, Jan 29: BharatiyaJanata Party Ashok Koul, General Secretary,  stated on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s praise for winter tourism and snow cricket will boost the Valley’s tourism sector. 
Koul while listening o Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 97th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in HalquaPuchal Pulwama after chairing the meeting of office bearers in Pulwama said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised snow cricket, a winter sport popular in Kashmiir, adding, it will give fillip to Kashmir’s tourism industry. 
“Our Prime Minister is concerned about Kashmir tourism and winter sports.He has become the global ambassador of Kashmir tourism in entire world,” he said.
Koul said the way in which he urged everyoneto visit Kashmir and enjoy winter season. Apart from beauty of this place, there is good scope of snow cricket in Valley that is being widely praised,” he said. 
Koul said PM Modi is also concerned about the Youth of Kashmir and stated that it such things will boost winter tourism in Valley.
“Now the LG administration and Sports Council should also come forward to organise more snow cricket tournament in the future and I hope that people from across the country will come to enjoy the movements,” he said
Earlier Koul chaired an organizational meeting of office bearers in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. He was accompanied by District President Pulwama Lateef Bhat, State spokesperson incharge Pulwama Altaf Thakur and DDC member Avtar Singh.
In his address, Koul asked the party leaders to lay emphasis on strengthening the party at booth-level with assembly election in J&K slated to be announced any time in near future. 
He told the party leaders to contact the ground level workers and the common masses hailing from their booth area to apprise them of the works done by the BJP government. , Both in state and centre, and discuss their issues in detail alongside, he said.
Koul urged them to do their task diligently and ensure their work to the full expectations of the organization.
He also asked party workers to frequent their visits to every booth in coordination with Mandal President & Shakti Kendra Incharges.
Koul laid special emphasis on the booth sashaktikaran. “Senior party leaders in conjunction with local leaders should contact every prominent person in the booth in order to increase the party’s base and endorsement of its policies and works,” he said.
