While addressing the nation on Monday evening after the Indian Armed Forces decimated the terror modules and their centres in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK) and Bahawalpur in Pakistan to avenge the Pahalgam carnage; Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that elimination of terrorism and reclamation of POK is the only agenda for India now. He was categorical that the Operation Sindoor was meant to punish the perpetrators of the terrorism against India. In his message to Pakistan he has hit straight without mincing the words that there is just a pause while dealing with the merchants of terrorism and this must be read between the lines. It means that the India is ready for any eventuality. In the words of the Prime Minister, Operation Sindoor is a new normal for India. As Operation Sindoor has proved that the terrorism of any kind meant to destabilise and divide India will be dealt mercilessly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi substantiated this by saying,“Operation Sindoor is our policy against terror. If there is a terror attack on India, we will hit back. We will take stern action at every place from where the roots of terror spring forth. India will not accept any nuclear blackmail… We won’t see the government that sponsors terror and terror outfits as different.” This is indeed very significant. He has punctured the nuclear blackmail of Pakistan that it has been using to provide cover to its state policy of terrorism against India. What is more important he has underlined that sponsors of terrorism and the terror outfits will be taken as synonyms. It is pertinent to mention that the Rising Kashmir has been repeatedly saying that terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir to destabilise India are un-uniformed battalions of the Pakistan Army so that they can indulge in plausible deniability. To neutralise it the Rising Kashmir has been stressing the need for the national security doctrine that hits at this policy of Pakistan and debunk its plausible deniability. Operation Sindoor is indeed the initiation of that process as stated by the Prime Minister. Making a very significant statement that Pakistan should have joined hands to bring the perpetrators of Pahalgam to justice with India but instead it decided otherwise. He underlined this by saying, “In this context, it did one more misadventure – instead of siding with India on this, it started attacking our schools, temples, gurudwaras, residential areas and military installations. But it was exposed. The world saw how their drones and missiles were blown away in front of our strong air defence system. Pakistan prepared for a border attack, but we attacked them on the chest. Our missiles and drones damaged the Pakistan air bases it was so proud of. In three days, India destroyed Pakistan to an extent it never expected.” It may be construed from the Prime Minister’s address that Pakistan has brought the situation to the brink and shown that it is a terrorist state and has emerged as a danger to the civilised progressive world. And this policy of Pakistan has forced India to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty. His message to the international community is loud and clear that India will not allow anyone to dictate the terms when it comes to show Pakistan its place. He has made it clear that if India will talk to Pakistan then it will only be about terror and POK. It is proper to mention that the Indian Parliament has passed a unanimous resolution during the Prime Ministership of the late P.V. Narasimha Rao that POK is the integral part of India and it has to be taken back. Within few minutes of the culmination of the Prime Minister’s address to the nation and the international community, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire understanding that was supposed to be in operation after the DGMO talks in various sectors in Jammu that included Samba, Akhnoor, Pargwal besides the drones were also spotted in the Indian air space. This makes it clear that India cannot take Pakistan on the face value and it cannot allow the foreign powers to meddle to make the things murkier. Every intrusive move from Pakistan is an act of war now and Indian Armed Forces and the Indian nation are united to defeat Pakistan in its nefarious designs. Prime Minister has set things in perspective to uphold the territorial integrity and sovereignty of India. Pakistan is proving itself the enemy with each act of ceasefire violation. Enough is enough.
