Anantnag, Nov 06: Senior BJP leader Manzoor Bhat on Monday visited several areas of Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district and reviewed the development works there.
He met the local people there and listened to their grievances regarding the development work going on there and directed it to be done on a fast-track basis. He assured that the public grievances would be resolved by the LG administration as soon as possible.
“It was good to see the crores of tourists coming to Pahalgam this year and the employment of the people here is huge,” Bhat said.
“Today, I see development everywhere; small shops and hotels have opened and people are earning livelihoods. The credit goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who have improved the situation here,” he said.
Manzoor Bhat said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is concerned about the progress of Jammu and Kashmir and the development work that is being done in Kashmir today.
The credit goes to the LG administration for the work that is being done on the national highway, he said, adding that efforts are being made to develop new tourism destinations.
“People should vote for the BJP in future elections as this party led by PM Modi has done development work in Jammu and Kashmir and improved the situation here in these four years. Now, we all have to come together to make Modi Ji’s dream of New Kashmir come true and make Jammu and Kashmir the world’s number one tourist destination,” he said.
