The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi would now address a public rally in Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar for which all the arrangements are being finalized.
Sources within the BJP’s Kashmir Unit said the venue from SKICC has been changed to Bakshi Stadium Srinagar where arrangements are being put in place ahead of the Narendra Modi’s address at the stadium which would a historic rally.
They said the visit is earmarked on March 7 and is expected to set the stage for BJP’s electoral campaign in Jammu & Kashmir for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It marks Prime Minister Modi’s first visit to Kashmir Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, a landmark decision that redefined the region’s political landscape.
