Jammu, Feb 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on February 20, where he will address a public rally in Jammu and inaugurate or lay the foundation stone for several key developmental projects.
Apart from addressing a large gathering in Jammu, PM Modi will inaugurate multiple crucial projects, including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Vijaypur in Samba, the highest railway bridge linking Kashmir with the rest of the nation in Reasi district, the Devika Rejuvenation project at Udhampur, the establishment of IIM Jammu, and the Shahpur Kandi project.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for various other development initiatives in the region.
This visit is anticipated to bolster the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) standing in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, showcasing the government’s commitment to the development and progress of the region.
