Jammu , Dec 14 :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Sunday congratulated Nitin Nabin on his appointment as the BJP’s National Working President by the party’s Parliamentary Board. In a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi described Nabin as a hardworking karyakarta and a young, industrious leader with rich organisational experience. He noted Nabin’s impressive record as an MLA and minister in Bihar, saying he has consistently worked to fulfil people’s aspirations. Praising his humble and grounded style of functioning, Modi expressed confidence that Nabin’s energy and dedication would further strengthen the party in the times to come. "He is known for his humble nature and grounded style of working. I am confident that his energy and dedication will strengthen our Party in the times to come. Congratulations to him on becoming the BJP National Working President," Modi said. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his heartfelt congratulations, noting that Nabin’s appointment was made by Prime Minister Modi, BJP National President J. P. Nadda, and senior leaders of the Parliamentary Board. Shah highlighted Nabin’s organisational journey, recalling his roles as National General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, State President of the Yuva Morcha in Bihar, and State In-charge of Chhattisgarh, where he discharged every responsibility with dedication and success. Shah further said that Nabin, a five-time MLA from Bihar and a former state minister, has extensive experience of working closely with the people. Calling the appointment an honour for young BJP workers, he wished Nabin success in his new role and a productive tenure. Nitin Nabin, 45, is currently the PWD minister in Bihar and MLA from Bankipur in Patna. He is widely seen as a future successor to incumbent BJP president J. P. Nadda, who was appointed in January 2020 and was later granted an extension to lead the party through the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
