Players of Khelo India Soft Tennis Center shine in UT Soft Tennis championship

Jammu, Oct 21: The promising players of Khelo India Soft Tennis Centre M A stadium, emerged as top winners of the UT level Soft Tennis championship.
The championship, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Jammu, recorded participation of enthusiastic budding players from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In individual singles boys category, Soham Bhat won the gold medal in under 19 category while Antekshika clinched the gold medal in under 19 individual singles girls category.

Madhvendra Singh won gold medal in under 17 individual singles boys category, Saksham Koul won silver medal in under 17 category boys while Shreemai Bhat bagged gold medal and
Simran Sharma got bronze medal in the under 17 girls category.
Similarly, Harikesh Dutt clinched gold medal, Aditya Dutt got silver medal while Rehmandeep Singh got the bronze medal in the under 14 category of boys. Besides, Harshita koul got gold medal and Savadhi Sharma won silver medal in the under 14 Age category of girls.
All these players would be representing J&K in the upcoming National Soft Tennis Championship slated to be held in the first week of December, 2024 under School National Games.
Present on the occasion were international Soft Tennis Coach, Indu Bhushan Padha, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Harvinder Kaur besides other departmental officials including Vishal Malhotra and Manzoor Ahmad.
