Pencak Silat Association Ganderbal elects new committee for year 2024

Ganderbal, Jan 07: The Pencak Silat Association Ganderbal on Sunday elected new members for the year 2024, aiming to actively involve students in district activities.
The meeting was presided over by Murtaza Bhat, the Head of the Association of District Ganderbal Pencak Silat at Qadiri Complex, Safapora.
The primary objective of this assembly was to thoughtfully appoint members who will contribute to the effective operation of the Pencak Silat Association throughout the entire Ganderbal district, ultimately elevating the experience for our students.
During this event, key roles were assigned to shape the future of Pencak Silat in Ganderbal district, with Mehraj Din Mir was elected as President, Sofi Sharmeen as district Coach, Mir Talib Hussain as Joint Secretary, Mohd Amin Shah as Vice President.
Similarly, Vaseem Akram as District Coordinator, Umar Qadir as Treasurer, Mir Zakir as Organizing Secretary, Syeda Tul Nisa as Administrative Secretary, Eisha Tu Nisa as Media Secretary Cum Anchor, and Shayista Maqbool as Legal Advisor.
On the occasion, Murtaza Bhat said that this meeting was crucial to strategically appoint capable individuals who will actively contribute to the effective functioning of the Pencak Silat Association in the entire Ganderbal district. 
“By thoughtfully selecting leaders, the aim is to enhance the overall experience for students and ensure the continued growth and success of Pencak Silat in the district,” he said.
 
Bhat said these dedicated individuals have been meticulously selected to lead with passion and commitment, ensuring the prosperity and excellence of Pencak Silat in our district.
At the end of the meeting, new elected members were honoured with certificates by the esteemed guests including Mohammad Jeelani and others.
