Budgam, Sept 09: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Beerwah Constituency, Haji Ghulam Ahmed Khan, carried out a door-to-door campaign across various villages in the Beerwah tehsil on Monday.
Accompanied by his supporters and party workers, Khan visited several villages, urging voters to back the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming assembly elections.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Khan said he is committed to public welfare. “I am conducting this campaign to seek the people’s support for my party in the upcoming elections,” he said.
Khan, who has 70-year experience in politics, said there is a need for on-the-ground action. “I am fully aware of the developments that have taken place, and the people of Beerwah are seeking change this time. With their support, I will contest the elections as a PDP candidate,” he said.
He urged voters to support the PDP, saying their support is crucial for the party’s victory in the upcoming assembly elections.
