Srinagar, Dec 04: Chairman Peoples’ Democratic Front (PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen Sunday urged for strengthening bonds of mutual trust and understanding between the Centre and people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that people’s political and developmental needs should be fulfilled as per their urges and aspirations.
Speaking at a meeting of party workers and senior citizens of Parnewa, Wager, Shooru and Nuner areas of Khansahib constituency in central Kashmir Budgam on Sunday, Hakeem Yaseen strongly vouched for bridging the “gap of mistrust” between Center and the people of Jammu and Kashmir adding that it is imperative to remove the “feeling of alienation.”
He said the restoration of democracy and statehood was the basic Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) in this regard.
