Jammu, Sep 03: Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing Jammu, Pavneet Kour on Sunday expressed serious concern over the non-availability of clean drinking water in Raipur, Satwari.
As per a press release, Kour raised the issue during an interaction with the people at Raipur in Satwari’s ward number 5.
After hearing the issues of the people, the Apni Party leader expressed her concern over the underdeveloped condition of the locality, and the growing concern of the people regarding the non-availability of clean drinking water.
“As the tap water is not available, the people have to fetch the drinking water or buy the drinking water through private tankers. The drinking water crisis has overburdened the pockets of the people and the authorities have become mute spectators,” she said.
She said that the Jal Shakti Department should resolve the issue and ensure tap water supply in ward number 5 of Raipur in Satwari. “The people are angry, and they would come on the roads if their demand is not accepted,” she said.
