Jammu, July 24: Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson has hailed the “inclusive” and “public-friendly” union budget, saying it focuses on the needs of the poor, women, farmers and youth.
Pathania in a statement issued here highlighted several key aspects of the budget. He said the budget enhanced allocations for healthcare, education and rural development to ensure broader access to essential services.
The budget has simplified tax structures and increased exemptions for middle and lower-income groups to ease financial burdens, he said, adding that it has significant investments in agriculture, irrigation and rural infrastructure aimed at boosting farmer incomes and improving rural livelihoods.
The BJP spokesperson said the union budget focuses on job creation. “The budget promotes entrepreneurship, skill development and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to generate employment opportunities,” he said, adding that investments have been kept for renewable energy and sustainable practices to address environmental concerns and promote green growth.
The budget focuses on digital infrastructure, he said, adding that the expansion of digital infrastructure is aimed at bridging the digital divide and enhancing access to technology and digital services.
