Jammu, Apr 24: Ranbir Singh Pathania, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Wednesday said the Modi government enhanced security, boosted tourism, improved infrastructure and created job opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir, setting the stage for the ambitious ‘Mission 400’ of the party.
Addressing a press conference in Reasi, Pathania highlighted the party’s dedication to national strengthening, guided by the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with All, Development for All), with a particular focus on the welfare of all citizens, especially the marginalized.
The BJP leader reiterated the overwhelming support for the party and showcased the government’s achievements and policy interventions. He specifically praised Jugal Kishore’s personal initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering marginalized communities, particularly Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs). “Under PM Modi’s leadership, targeted schemes and significant resources have been allocated to address socio-economic disparities faced by SCs and STs in Jammu and Kashmir, demonstrating a collective commitment to advancing their interests,” he said.
Pathania criticised the Congress and its policies, saying, “There is a hidden agenda in the Congress manifesto to implement Communist and Maoist approaches in India.” He accused the “GHAMANDIA” alliance and its allies of aiming to seize people’s earnings by scrutinising and seizing their properties for redistribution, likening their mindset to that of Maoists and Communists. He warned against the implementation of such approaches in India by the Congress and INDI alliance.
Ranbir vehemently condemned secessionist forces, saying those promoting division and spreading hatred are now exposed and marginalised. He commended the government’s comprehensive campaign against terrorism, corruption, and secessionism in Jammu and Kashmir, bringing relief to the people.
