The session drew a diverse group of attendees from Govt medical college Rajouri and private practitioners.

Additionally, Paras Health Srinagar organized 02 free medical camps in Poonch and Rajouri, providing essential medical services to underserved communities, in which 850 patients were screened for various illnesses from remote areas- Mendhar, Surankote, Thanamandi, and peripheries of Rajouri. The Poonch camp was held at Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom, Department of School Education, Poonch, J&K, from 9 am to 4 pm. The Rajouri camp took place at Matrix Hospital, Ward Number 6, Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri, J&K, from 9 am to 6 pm. Both camps offered comprehensive health check-ups and consultations, benefiting a large number of local residents, including 02 spine surgeries assisted by Dr Basharat Kanth.

Dr. Basharat Kanth, remarked, “Our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to the people of J&K is unwavering. These events are a testament to our dedication to reaching out to communities, offering them the best medical care possible, and educating them about advanced medical interventions. We believe in making healthcare accessible to everyone, and these camps are a step in that direction. By engaging directly with the community and addressing their immediate health needs, we aim to foster a culture of proactive health management. These initiatives not only provide essential medical services but also serve as a platform to educate individuals about preventive measures, thereby improving overall health outcomes. Our ongoing efforts are designed to ensure that every person in J&K has the opportunity to benefit from high-quality healthcare services.”

Dr. Vidushi Badial, MS, ENT, Associate professor, ENT Head & Neck Surgery, added, “It is truly encouraging to witness the overwhelming response from the community. Our primary goal is to bridge gaps in healthcare accessibility and ensure that high-quality medical services reach every individual, no matter where they reside. The purpose of these free medical camps were not only to offer free medical support but also to emphasize the critical importance of regular health check-ups and early diagnosis. By raising awareness and making healthcare services more accessible, we aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to take control of their health, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more informed community.”

Paras Health Srinagar continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and accessibility in the region through these and other initiatives, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people of J&K.
