In a deeply moving tribute to national unity and sacrifice, thousands of devotees gathered at the Hazrat Mubarak Khan Dargah Sharif in Gorakhpur to observe An Evening Dedicated to Martyrs during the annual Urs Mubarak celebrations.
The event resonated with prayers for peace, strong messages against terrorism, and heartfelt tributes to the victims of the recent Pahalgam attack.
The gathering was graced by Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, who presented the sacred Ghilaf from Ajmer Sharif and led collective prayers for the nation’s prosperity, harmony, and resilience.
Among the distinguished guests were Peethadheeshwar Goswami Sushil Maharaj senior social activist Lallesh Reddy and “qrar Ahmed, Chairman of the Dargah Committee. Together with thousands of participants from across the country, they raised their voices in unity against terrorism and offered special prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured in the Pahalgam tragedy, as well as strength for the bereaved families.
In his keynote address, Haji Syed Salman Chishty emphasized the enduring spirit of India’s unity and love, saying the soul of India lies in love, peace, and brotherhood. The message of Ajmer Sharif urges us all to embrace humanity as our highest mission. The sacrifices of our martyrs shall forever inspire us to uphold the true spirit of peace.
Echoing the call for national unity, Peethadheeshwar Shri Goswami Sushil Maharaj Ji “india has always been the world’s greatest messenger of spirituality and coexistence. From this sacred platform, we pledge to stand together against the evil of terrorism and safeguard the ideals our martyrs fought for.
Lallesh Reddy Ji underlined the significance of India’s composite culture, stating,

Highlighting the significance of the Dargah as a center of peace, Shri Iqrar Ahmed Ji added,
