Medchal-Malkajgiri (Telangana), Oct 06: Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda said during the BJP’s State Council Meeting in Telangana on Friday that all these parties (opposition) are family parties and the only political party fighting as a national party is BJP.
Right from Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, all these parties (opposition) are family parties, said Nadda.
Nadda also called BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) as ‘Bhrashtachar Rishvat Samiti’ and further said that Congress is not a national party but a party of Sonia-Rahul-Priyanka.
“The only political party that is fighting as a national party is BJP,” said Nadda.
“The citizens of the nation will never support a single family as this is a nation which runs on ideologies and relevant issues, the democracy of this nation can never be a slave to anyone,” he added.
The BJP National President further said, “I want to ask the youth of Telangana that do you want a government where the questions of matric exam are leaked, the questions 12th class are leaked and the questions of Public Service Commission are leaked.”
He further alleged that K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) government is involved in corruption and family politics.
Recalling the developmental moves that the nation has witnessed under the BJP rule as compared to the opposition rule, Nadda said, “When I was an MLA in 1993, there was a scheme called Indira Awas Yojna and my Block Development Officer (BDO) came to me and said that in two Panchayat, I had got one Indira Awas scheme, and he asked me to which one the scheme should be given…”
“At present, four crore houses have already been provided by PM Modi under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, out of which funds for 2.5 lakh houses in Telangana have also been released,” he added.
Nadda also mocked KCR’s promise of double-bedroom residences in the state.
Highlighting the work done under the Swachh Bharat Mission, Nadda said that 36 lakh Swachh Toilets have been made in Telangana which means 36 lakh women have been given a dignified life to lead along with 36 lakh families.
Nadda also mentioned that 9.5 crore people have been provided with a gas connection under the Ujjwala Yojana, while under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, five lakh rupees per year are given to 50 crore people every year.
The BJP National President further motivating the party members present at the meeting said, “You are not fighting this battle for yourself but for Telangana’s future and its development.”
He further asked the party members to spread the message that the BJP is the one who has connected everyone with development and under BJP and PM Modi’s leadership Telangana will go on to become a developed state.
