The Sub Divisional Administration Kangan on Friday has issued an advisory to general public in view of snowfall and slippery road conditions in several areas of Sub division Kangan.
According to an order a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir SDM said to prevent accidents and long lasting traffic jams due to slippery road, which puts the commuters to much inconvenience, only 4*4 vehicles and those with anti skid chains shall be allowed from Gagangeer to Sonmargh and vice versa till the thawing of the ice from road, the order reads.
The higher reaches of Central Kashmirs Ganderbal district recieved heavy snowfall on the third consecutive day today.
