Srinagar, Dec 21: The offices of the Registrar of Companies (ROC) in Jammu and Kashmir have initiated an investigation into the activities of the fraudulent entity operating under the name ‘Curative Survey Private Limited’. This move follows reports of the company deceiving individuals of significant sums of money.
According to an official statement issued by ROC here, Sudhir Liladhar Phaye, ROC Jammu, has issued letters requesting detailed information for scrutiny. He has directed the office staff to take decisive actions against ‘Curative Survey Private Limited’, based in Channi Himat, whose directors hail from Tamil Nadu.
Haamid Bukhari, Deputy ROC J&K cum Official Liquidator & Incharge of Kashmir Valley for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, ROC Srinagar, said he spoke at length with the Cyber Police Kashmir about the actions taken.
The statement quoted Bukhari as saying that he has spoken to the DIG Crime Branch and his Jammu office has shared the relevant KYC details with the police authorities to go for further probe to expose the modus operandi with which this company collected money from the public.
On Wednesday, the Cyber Police conducted multiple raids at various locations as part of their ongoing efforts to address this issue.
