One person and seven others were injured in two separate road accidents in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
An official from the police station Charar-i-Sharief told the Rising Kashmir that a TATA Mobile under registration number JK16 2296 skidded off from the road at Lolipora Banjerwani village of the Charar-i-Sharief.
“in which one person, namely Khurshid Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Hamid Mir, and 30 years of age, a resident of the Shadipora Ganderbal, has died. While his father, Abdul Hamid Mir, has also been injured in this incident,” an official said.
He said that a case under FIR Number 03/2023, under Sections 279, 337, and 304 A of the IPC, has been registered at Police Station Charar-i-Sharief.
In one more accident, a Tata mobile skidded off the road at Kherigund Chadoora, in which six people got injured; all residents are from Brinjan Chadoora.
An official from the district administration in Budgam said that all injured persons were immediately taken to CHC Nagam, where doctors referred them to SMHS for further treatment.
“The Civil Administration and Police have taken cognizance of both of the accidents,” he said.
