One person died and the driver sustained injuries after the tractor turned turtle at Malpora Khag area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
An official from Police Station Khag told the Rising Kashmir that the tractor had been turned turtle near the Malpora village of Khag Tehsil. in which one person was killed and another got injured.
“After this incident took place, both inj persons were rushed to the Primary Health Centre Khag.” where one person, namely Ishfaq Ahmad Gazi resident of Narsingpora Khag, was declared dead by the doctors on arrival. “The tractor driver, Riyaz Ahmad Ghazi, has been shifted to a Srinagar-based hospital for further treatment,” an official said.
He said that a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Khag.
