Budgam, Dec 07: A tragic road accident occurred in the Rupwan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to two others.
An official from the Police Station Charar-i-Shareef said a vehicle with Registration Number JK01Q 1713 skidded off the road near Rupwan area of Charar-i-Sharief during travel.
He identified the deceased as Abdul Kabir Hajam from the Murran area of Pulwama district, and the injured individuals as Surya Hajam and Ghulam Mohammad Hajam, both residents of Muran in Pulwama.
The injured were initially referred to the Bone and Joint Hospital Barazulla, Srinagar, for treatment and later shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar, the official said, adding that a case under FIR Number 91/2023, under relevant sections of the law, has been registered at Police Station Charar-i-Shareef.
