Baramulla, Mar 05: A head-on collision between two vehicles in Sheeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday resulted in the death of one man and left another person injured.
Police said that a collision between a load carrier with registration number JK04B 0201 and a Maruti Alto K10 with registration number JK05K 6938 occurred near the Sheeri petrol pump.
Two people were injured in the accident.
“The injured were immediately taken to PHC Sheeri before being referred to the GMC Hospital in critical condition. One of the injured persons was declared dead on arrival at the hospital,” police said.
Police identified the deceased as Bashir Ahmed Ahanger of Old town Baramulla.
