Srinagar, Sep 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited the bereaved family of the brave-heart DySP Humayun Bhat at Humhama, who lost his life in an encounter at Anantnag earlier this week.
Later, he also visited the residences of Block President Budgam Nazir Ahmad Gogoo, and party District Budgam VP Muhammad Ashraf Lone to condole with them, the party said in a statement.
Omar was joined in by the party’s local unit functionaries. He offered fatiha for the departed souls and prayed for the fortitude to the bereaved. Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Political Advisor to Party President Mushtaq Guroo, and Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri accompanied him on the visits.
