Srinagar, Oct 15: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has scheduled a crucial meeting following the swearing-in of Chief Minister-designate Omar Abdullah on October 16. The newly sworn-in Chief Minister will chair a meeting with all Administrative Secretaries at 3:00 p.m. in the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, marking his first official interaction with the administrative leadership after assuming office.
According to a communiqué issued by the General Administration Department, Rohit Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, stated, “After the Oath-taking Ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Minister, J&K, shall chair a meeting of all Administrative Secretaries on 16.10.2024 (Wednesday) at 03:00 p.m. in the Meeting Hall, 3rd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.”
Formal invitations have been sent to all Administrative Secretaries, requesting their attendance at the scheduled meeting. The interaction is expected to set the tone for the new administration’s immediate priorities and strategic direction.
