Srinagar, Nov 01: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah led the party functionaries in paying tributes to late party leader and former MLC Raja Nasir Khan on his third death anniversary.
Speaking at a commemorative function at Kupwara marking the third death anniversary of the late leader, Omar recalled his immense concern for the people of Keran and his profound rapport with the party workers on the ground. The function was organised by youth leader Shahrukh Khan.
Among others, the party’s treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, and Sharief ud Din Shariq; North Zone President Javed Dar, District President Kupwara Qaisar Jamsheed Lone and other local unit functionaries were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, the party leaders enumerated various glowing facets of the late leader’s life and struggle.
